Welcome to Sugar&Crumb! These Terms & Conditions outline how you can order, purchase and enjoy your gluten-free treats from my small bakery. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below — they’re here to keep everything clear, fair and running smoothly.

1. Who We Are
Sugar&Crumb is a gluten-free baking business run by:

2. Products & Allergens
All products sold on Sugar&Crumb are made in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen.
Please read each product description carefully before ordering.

If you have allergy concerns or intolerances, please get in touch before placing your order.
3. Ordering
You can place an order through the website using the checkout system. Once completed, you’ll receive an order confirmation email.
Orders may be cancelled or refused if:
A product is out of stock
Payment fails or appears suspicious
Incorrect information is provided
I am unable to fulfil your order (a refund will be given)
4. Pricing & Payments
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include all applicable taxes.
Payments are processed securely via [Stripe/PayPal/Squarespace Payments].
Your payment details are never shared with me.
Prices may change at any time, but confirmed orders won’t be affected.
5. Delivery & Collection
Weekly Ordering & Dispatch Schedule
To keep everything fresh and consistent, orders follow this weekly schedule:
Orders Open: Tuesday
Baking Day: Wednesday
Dispatch Day: Thursday (via DPD Next Day)
Orders placed after Tuesday will automatically move to the following week’s bake and dispatch.
This ensures every treat is baked fresh and reaches you as quickly as possible.
Delivery – DPD Next Day
All postal brownie boxes are sent via DPD Next Day.
Once dispatched on Thursday, parcels typically arrive on Friday.
Important notes:
Tracking information is provided directly by DPD.
“Next Day” refers to the day after dispatch, not the day after ordering.
Courier delays may happen during busy periods, strikes or severe weather.
Once parcels are handed to DPD, delivery times are outside my control — but I’ll always do my best to help.
Collection (if offered)
If collection is available, details will be confirmed by email.
Please collect on time, as treats are perishable and cannot be held for extended periods.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations
Because all products are fresh, baked to order and perishable, the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations, Section 28).
You may cancel an order only if:
Baking has not yet started, and
You email me promptly at info@sugarandcrumbgf.com
If preparation has begun, cancellations and refunds aren’t possible.
Refunds
Refunds may be offered if:
Your order arrives damaged
Your order does not arrive
I make an error with your order
Please contact me within 24 hours of delivery, including photos where relevant.
Refunds cannot be given for:
Change of mind
Disliking a flavour
Incorrect delivery information entered at checkout
Courier delays after dispatch
Orders not collected on time
Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Shipping Issues
If DPD delays your parcel, I will support you in resolving the issue, but cannot be held responsible for delays outside my control.
If the delay means your treats are no longer safe to consume, please contact me so we can agree a fair solution.
8. Food Safety & Storage
Please store brownies and treats as advised on each product page.
Once delivered, you are responsible for storing items safely and appropriately.
9. Intellectual Property
All images, branding, written content and product descriptions belong to Sugar&Crumb and may not be reused or reproduced without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
Sugar&Crumb is not liable for:
Allergic reactions where allergens were clearly listed
Improper storage after delivery
Courier delays
Losses caused by incorrect address details provided by you
My total liability will not exceed the value of the order placed.

12. Changes to These Terms
